To clean the Setosa IPL handset first make sure it is disconnected from the electrical outlet. Wipe with a damp clean cloth. Never use any abrasive fluids like acetone because this can damage the device. Never immerse or use water to clean your device.
The Setosa Serenity/Serenity+ handset is equipped with 600000 flashes which can last well over 20+ years and the Ice handset with 999,999. This means there aren’t any added costs and no need for replacements or refills.
The Setosa Ice IPL has the most power with an energy output of 6-15j/cm2. The Serenity and Serenity+ is essentially the same handset with an energy output of 4.83 -11.21 j/cm^2. The ICE IPL has 999,999 flashes, the Serenity/ Serenity+ IPL has 600,000 flashes. The ICE IPL also has an Ice Cooling function as well as a display window, which shows you how many flashes you have remaining. The Serenity+ Multifunction comes with two lens attachments, one for skin rejuvenation, the other for anti-acne.
The Serenity+ Multifunction handset comes with two magnetic lens attachments that can latch on to the head of the Serenity handset. The yellow lens attachment is designed for reducing hyperpigmentation. It uses targeted wavelengths of light to break up the melanin clusters responsible for discoloration. The red lens attachment focuses the wavelength to target acne causing bacteria, reducing breakouts and improving inflammation and redness.
The Setosa IPL Device has dual voltage (100v - 240v) meaning it will work in any region of the world. The device also comes with a 12v power supply with the correct plug.

You can safely use the Setosa IPL Device over light freckles but you should not use the device over freckles or moles which are very dark.
As there is heat involved, slight blackening on/around the light window is normal and will not affect your handset, how it works or the results at all.
